Flexiplastics is one of the leading UK manufacturers of bespoke products using plastics and coated textiles. We use decades of experience and industry-leading technology to create a diverse range of high-quality products that are custom made to the exact needs and requirements of our customers. Established in the 1970s, we began by serving the coal industry in Derbyshire and are proud to have grown and developed our business to support the demands of almost any commercial project in a variety of industries.
Now working from our dedicated production facility in Chesterfield, our 24,000 sq ft premises allows us to design, manufacture, and repair a wide variety of products made from PVC, Polyurethane, polyester and more. We're still supporting our local area but also have created necessary products used in both the Ebola epidemic and the Coronavirus Pandemic. Flexiplastics is part of the Specialised Canvas Group which also includes Banner Box Print Solutions, offering Large Format Printing, and Flagmakers, bespoke flag and flagpole products.
Our Equipment & Machinery
At our Derbyshire production facility, we have a diverse range of equipment and facilities to guarantee we manufacture our bespoke and generally quite unusual products to perfection. The manufacturing process begins with a consultation with our CAD and pattern design studio, before moving onto our automated cutting department. Once the materials have been cut, the process of welding and tooling can begin.
Flexiplastics has invested in the finest equipment to ensure we can offer a premium product with a superior finish every single time. Our team of experienced technicians make use of high-frequency welding tools, large track welders, and unique pneumatic systems to complete a variety of tasks to an extremely high standard, whilst also considering how to be an efficient workforce reducing material waste and tool change over time.
From the trickiest welds to the precision of straight and tight joins, we're able to provide a premium service from start to finish.
